Responsibilities:

Kooodoo and Blenheim Chalcot excited to be looking for a Product Manager to join  the Koodoo team and drive the product development of our innovative new products. This position offers the responsibility to work closely with our engineering, business development, and commercial teams, as well as liaise closely with major industry clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and customer needs and collaborate with stakeholders, engineering and design to identify, prioritise and refine product features and requirements.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with our commercial and business development teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, including requirements gathering, roadmap planning, and prioritisation. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to understand market dynamics, identify key competitors, and analyze their strategies and product offerings. Stay abreast of industry trends to inform product decisions and identify areas for innovation, ensuring our products remain competitive and meet evolving market demands.
  • A/B Testing and Data-Driven Decision Making: Design and implement A/B tests to optimise product features and user experience. Analyse test results to make data-driven decisions, continually refine product offerings, and enhance overall customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for the product, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Data Analysis and Metrics: Establish, articulate and analyse clear success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each product initiative. Utilise frameworks for measuring product performance. Regularly analyse and report on these metrics to assess the effectiveness of product strategies and identify areas for improvement. Utilise insights from data to refine success criteria and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.

 The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in product, operations, strategy, operations etc
  • Minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree (in any discipline)
  • Experience in working in technology would be advantageous 
  • A passion for start-ups and disruption, with experience in or ambitions to build your own venture in the future
  • Emotional intelligence and be compassionate and supportive in nature  
  • Give evidence of the ability to be a self-starter and be able to adapt to multiple roles in a variety of high-pace environments
  • A passion for building your network and capacity to work well with colleagues and stakeholders at C-suit and executive levels

This role is part of the BC Pioneer Programme; a portfolio-wide community and learning & development programme built exclusively for the future leaders of our ventures and scale-ups.

When embarking on a Pioneer role within our portfolio, you will be exposed to an environment unlike any other and will have the opportunity have a tangible impact on a business going through a continuously evolving period of growth. Alongside your role, you will undertake an 18-month Red Team L&D programme, giving you access to learning materials, training and experts to help you to set up your own career adventure.

The process:

We have a rigorous recruitment process which we use for all our roles to ensure we attract the very best and diverse talent. 

This will involve an initial telephone conversation, followed by a panel interview and a case study where you will meet with that businesses management team and the Chief Operating team over 2 stages. We aspire for every person invited into an interview to find the process as interesting and engaging as we no doubt will.
