The Client Strategy Director role is one of the most pivotal roles in Black Swan’s client engagement – responsible for working with established clients to understand their needs and unlock the areas in which we are able to add greater value to their business.
Successful client strategists are consummate commercial/account management professionals, with a keen understanding of insight & the human skills involved in creating influence up to C-Suite level. Being easily able to build network & rapport, create distinct narratives that build storytelling in the business and design commercial programs that deliver on clients’ need, the client strategists are the cornerstone of Blacks Swan’s ability to drive it’s Gross and Net Revenue retention.
The role reports to the Head of Client Strategy & Customer Success, who reports to the company executive team.
Successful individuals will combine strong functional experience with important human qualities: courage to lead from the front, adaptability to work in a scale-up environment with fast growing clients and the honesty & transparency to be able to work as part of a truly high performing team
What you will be doing:
- Secure GRR and NRR by leading the vision and strategy for the customer. Push our business to align the product roadmap to client needs, so that we can deliver the operational requirements of the company
- Become the profoundly trusted partner of major global CPG clients, being able to understand & become close to their needs & challenges and expertly navigate and solve against them
- Lead the interaction between our clients and our product teams, to ensure that what we build for the future, is tightly aligned to a client need, acting as the owner of the perfect balance that exists between client requirement and roadmap deliverable
The individual will work as part of a tight-knit senior group within the business, to steer the future of the company and so will be required to be comfortable operating in a business that is growing very quickly, with a fast-evolving client set & constantly changing set of product requirements.
