About the Role

Are you passionate about helping clients solve their business problems through the use of public cloud?  

Are you looking for real ownership on projects and to get under the skin of clients’ biggest challenges? 

We’re looking for talented Cloud Technology Consultants who are looking to take the next step in their career to join our growing Consulting team. 

As a Cloud Technology Consultant at BJSS, you will help clients bridge the gap between the business and technology by leveraging the latest best practices in cloud that utilise a wide variety of cloud frameworks and methodologies.  

Cloud Technology Consultants help clients define their cloud strategy and make the right technology choices for their business across cloud, data, platforms and applications, as well as the operating models needed to support them. 

You will work with some of the biggest companies in the UK and help them shape their cloud strategy, telling compelling stories about the case for change. You will define the goals and objectives and select the strategies that meet those objectives and craft the supporting business case. 

You will be a thought leader who is keen to share their opinions on the latest trends either digitally or in person with our clients and colleagues. 

BJSS Cloud Technology Consultants are trusted advisors at the c-suite level, keen to use their knowledge to ensure our clients maximise their use of technology through good decision-making. 

About You

  • You are an experienced consultant who understands how to apply a wide range of cloud technologies to solve the needs of a business and can provide this strategic advice professionally and effectively to stakeholders across a business
  • You will have broad general experience across enterprise technology and a deeper knowledge or specialism in one or more of the major cloud hyperscalers:
    • AWS
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Google Cloud
  • You have demonstrable experience in delivering strategic cloud advice and decision support in forms such as cloud strategies, readiness assessments, adoption approaches, operating models, cloud economics (FinOps) and cloud migration approaches and plans
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can influence stakeholders across the range of roles and seniorities including C-suite executives. Problem solving is at the heart of what you do, applying critical thinking and innovation with a clear emphasis on creation of value for the customer
  • You have an understanding of technologies impact on our clients businesses including latest trends, advantages and disadvantages, impact, cost, availability and suitability of different cloud technologies and patterns
  • You can take the lead on project or workstream outcomes, client relationships and will help our people succeed
  • You have a keen commercial awareness and business development experience that enables you to identify and shape potential opportunities, shape and write proposals and pitch to clients. You will be a strong contributor to BJSS growth
