The Bittrex legal team is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a sound multi-tasker who can perform a variety of paralegal and administrative duties while also managing frequent cross-team interactions and deliverables. Job Description / Responsibilities
Coordinate with in-house counsel, outside counsel, and company personnel on requests related to internal and external investigations, litigation and arbitration matters, third-party subpoenas, consumer complaints and other legal matters, including preparing timely responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, litigation holds and other litigation matters.
Provide litigation support as needed, including managing responses to discovery under supervision of attorneys.
Help the legal team create and implement tools and processes, including data preservation, collection, review, and production procedures.
Conduct basic legal research and general research into background information on various topics of interest to the company.
Assist legal team with research and managing cross-functional projects as assigned
All other duties as assigned.
3+ years of regulatory experience, legal assistant/paralegal experience, or a combination of both.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; JD or paralegal qualification preferred
