We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer, L1 (Japanese Speaking) to join our Singapore office!

 

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) 

  • Provide timely and effective customer service by establishing rapport in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner 
  • Manage and respond to large amounts of inbound chats and emails in a timely and efficient fashion 
  • Identify customers’ needs, pain points and business requirements by clarifying and confirming information
  • Research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternative recommendations 
  • Confirm customer understanding of the solution(s) and provide feedback 
  • Recommend migration steps depending on the situation
  • Identify and resolve authentication issues as appropriate
  • Analyze and diagnose migration performance issues and rectify as appropriate 

 

Experience/Skills Requirements 

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in the IT industry
  • Japanese language - business proficiency required
  • Must be able to work shifts (not required to work night shifts) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with active listening  
  • Passion for providing great customer experience

 

Preferred 

  • Knowledge of email/networking protocols (e.g.: SMTP, EWS, NRPC, IMAP, DNS, and RFCs) 
  • Experience in System Administration and troubleshooting skills (e.g.: packet sniffing, debugging, etc)
  • Knowledge of email & collaboration platforms (e.g.: Office 365, Exchange, G-suite, Lotus Notes, GroupWise, Zimbra, etc) 
  • Experience using PowerShell for automation, implementation, and data extraction 

 

Education 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred 

 

Language Skills 

  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
