Bit Reactor is in search of a Producer to help us plot our course through hyperspace.  As a Producer you will collaborate with the team and project leads to help deliver a best-in-class player experience that will revolutionize games through the lens of the Star Wars universe. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support feature/discipline teams with sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives and working to improve their cohesion and process.
  • Being a helpful facilitator and maintaining a good relationship with the team, while also still working to help hold them accountable for their commitments.
  • Communicating your teams progress to leadership and making sure that roadblocks are clearly communicated and addressed.
  • Support Leads/Directors with preparing items for review/submissions.
  • Working with Leads/Directors to help establish roadmaps and working to audit their status and update accordingly throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable and confident in the usage of Jira (or a similar project tracking software) for usage on the project, as well as being able to support team members in their usage of it.
  • Understanding and experienced application of various production methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)
  • Strong communications and organizational skills.
  • Clear and proactive communicator who works effectively with both onsite and remote members of the team.
  • The ability to work with members of all feature and discipline teams and different personality types.
  • 4+ years of experience in game development in a project management capacity, preferably as an embedded member of a studio development team
  • Growing knowledge of game development, and a strong willingness to learn.

Bit Reactor prefers to hire candidates who are willing to relocate to Hunt Valley, Maryland, but is open to remote options.
