Role Overview

As a member of our growing marketing team, manage our brand’s social media presence and evolve the way we use our mix of channels to more effectively build reputation, drive growth, and engage with a purpose. Use your creativity, conviction, and sharp judgment to create marketing campaigns on social media that stay true to our brand values, tone of voice, and strategy.  Engage with our online audience via community management. Develop a deep understanding of our industry and our business and work with external agency partners and 100x colleagues to see projects through. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Owns social media channels & communities
  • Report directly to the head of customer engagement
  • Develop and execute successful social media strategies that work well in the crypto space 
  • Sourcing, self-producing, curating, scheduling & monitoring social media content across all channels,  platforms and brands
  • Create a framework for planning, writing, editing and producing social media content to scale efficiently
  • Implement social media monitoring tool while following Compliance and Security guidelines
  • Expand to new social media channels
  • Establish Brand personas in social media
  • Conduct competitor analysis on others’ social media campaigns
  • Work with creative and content team on developing professional social media communications
  • Track and report on social media campaign performances
  • Propose and implement best social media practice across all social channels

Qualifications

  • Familiar with established social media management tools & technologies
  • Deep knowledge of social media best practices (especially Twitter)
  • Deep knowledge and highly interested in the cryptocurrency space & its community
  • 3+ years social media & community management experience with a focus on content marketing
  • Proven experience managing a large twitter profile
  • Proven ability to write effective tweets
  • Able to plan and execute social media best practices and drive the channel to be a key contributor to brand awareness and community building
  • Self driven and motivated to be kept up to date with changes
  • Ability to work well with internal stakeholders
  • Strong overview of the whole digital space 
  • Bonus Point: Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Ability to interpret data & turn into actionable insights to optimize social media content
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Well organized and able to deliver on time
  • Ability to identify trends (cultural, entertainment, finance, social, memes, economy, VIPs - but especially in crypto) with relevance for our social media strategy
  • Familiar with marketing concepts such as sales funnel & customer segmentation
  • “Speaks” the modern, digital marketing language fluently
  • Ability to find the right tone of voice for different audiences within the community
