The Role
We're hiring for a People Intern to join our Workforce/ Total Rewards team! The internship is a 10-week program beginning June 3rd, 2024 and runs until August 16th, 2024 (with 1 week off during the week of July 4th).
 
We are seeking a highly motivated HR intern with a passion for data analytics and process improvement to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources while focusing on data analysis and insights generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to strategic HR initiatives through data-driven decision-making.
 
What You'll Do
 
  • Collect, clean, and organize HR-related data from various sources including BambooHR, Paylocity, Lattice, and Greenhouse
  • Analyze HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives within the HR department, providing analytical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HR analytics into broader organizational strategies and initiatives.
  • Create and analyze office utilization reports.
  • Track local office assets to ensure all assets are accounted for, order local office supplies as needed.
  • Research local vendors to support meaningful and engaging workforce events.
  • Participate in the event planning process, including the development of event project plans.
  • Coordinate and execute event requirements such as AV contracts, hotel food and beverage contracts, offsite meals, and teambuilding events.

Who You Are

  • You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Python, or similar software.
  • You have familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, clustering, and hypothesis testing.
  • You have effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are proactive problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

This position is salaried and classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which means the you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour workweek.

The annual cash compensation range for this position is below.  Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed.

Pay Range
$25—$25 USD
