BitGo is looking to hire a Compliance Monitoring & Testing professional. Reporting directly into our Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, this is an excellent opportunity to occupy a crucial Compliance leadership role where you’ll be able to utilize your expertise while taking on the challenge of building out a Compliance Monitoring and Testing program at a rapidly growing cryptocurrency/digital asset firm.
Responsibilities
- Work as a key member of our Compliance team
- Prepare reports for the Executive Management and Board of Directors on a periodic basis
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise testing programs in addition to determining the accuracy and completeness of each program
- Liaise with various other teams to ensure monitoring and testing results are remediated
- Contribute and partner with business, operations, technology, and other second line of defense teams to execute on mandates and improve existing processes including customer onboarding, new product and service approval and delivery, technology enhancements, and asset due diligence
- Assist in the management of regulatory exams including the South Dakota Division of Banking and the NYDFS
- Exemplify a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of relevant compliance experience within financial services
- Strong track record of expertise within compliance monitoring and testing including the authoring of procedural documentation, creating testing/monitoring programs from scratch, etc.
- Experience in managing a team of compliance professionals at several different levels (Associate/Specialist, Compliance Officer/Manager, etc.)
- Ability to interact/communicate effectively with all levels of management, regulators, and examiners
- Comprehensive understanding of general banking and brokerage operations activities, products and services, and compliance regulations and laws
- Familiarity and/or interest in cryptocurrency/digital assets
- Ability to proactively identify and assess potential concerns and risks
- Influential and team-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal, writing, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Good organizational and time management skills

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $185,000- $199,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined above are also a part of this role's package.
