THE OPPORTUNITY: Brand & Social Intern

REPORTS TO: Brand Marketing Director

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid)

Birdy Grey is looking to hire a marketing intern to support the Brand Team across social media, influencer, and brand marketing. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about social media (especially TikTok), has a creative eye, and wants to learn more about influencer marketing. The various projects this candidate works on may differ from week to week, with a requirement to be onsite at our DTLA office on an as-needed basis (1-2x/week at most).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Social Media Manager and Community Manager to pull metrics and gather insights
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on social trends and ideation for TT and IG
  • Contribute to trending boards and ideas for Pinterest and support the Social Media Manager on a revamp of the channel
  • Support the Community Manager on engaging with customers
  • Respond to in-bound requests for partnerships
  • Work closely with the Influencer Relations Manager to help facilitate influencer partnerships
  • Provide overall admin support for the Brand Team

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

EDUCATION: BA degree

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in consumer/apparel/fashion, DTC, or e-commerce is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A passion for social media and marketing
  • Creative problem solver with a go-getter mentality
  • Hard working and eager to willing to roll sleeves up - no job is too big or too small
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to lead projects
