We hire individuals for the Associate position who have two to four years work experience, typically from a leading investment bank or consulting firm. Associates at Birch Hill participate in all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, business analysis, deal execution, and ongoing portfolio company support. We generally hire one to two Associates per year.
The Associate program lasts three years with the opportunity for promotion to either a VP Investment or VP Portfolio role. The VP Investment role is focused on evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions and ongoing portfolio company support. This role is targeted at associates who want to continue to build their investment career. The VP Portfolio role is an opportunity for associates who have a desire to focus their career on building great companies. This role is structured to provide significant exposure to company building activities in one or two portfolio companies and is a launch pad for the VP to move to a senior leadership position in one of Birch Hill’s portfolio companies.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
