Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deployment and implementation of Forcepoint DLP (endpoint and CASB)
  • Administration of the Forcepoint DLP solution to include configuration of policies, upgrading, patching, etc., and proactively updating and fine-tune DLP systems & policies as per company-defined policies
  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the Forcepoint DLP system and other security technologies for timely resolution. Initiate Exception handling process as needed after coordinating with users
  • Collaborate with internal departments and teams to help them identify, classify and secure classified data
  • Report the incident to their managers, ensure to take responses against each incident for audit purposes, understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations
  • Draft relevant technical documentation, SOPs and templates related to Forcepoint DLP
  • Support team in coordinating evidence collection during the annual SOC 2 Type II audit
  • Support team in coordinating other activities like third-party risk assessments, security training follow-ups, etc.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in implementing data protection tools (Symantec, MacAfee, etc.) with 5+ years into Forcepoint
  • Understand pattern recognition/NLP is a strong plus, especially adopoting pattern recognition/NLP into DLP policies
  • Relevant DLP OEM certifications (e.g. Forcepoint DLP Admin etc.) is a strong plus
  • Experience in maintaining various metrics, incident logs and SLAs
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure (preferably AWS) is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good at coordination and a team player.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to other security initiatives and activities
  • Basic awareness of regulatory requirements like GDPR and HIPAA is a plus for their data protection needs, including background in healthcare industry related data subjects
