Billie is looking for a Senior Analyst, Retention to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of our analytics infrastructure and help the larger team unlock the value of our web and customer data across the organization. 

Focusing primarily on retention, this position is responsible for monitoring web analytics, performing testing, mining user data, as well as conducting exploratory research to better understand & improve our customer journey. As a Senior Analyst, you’ll have an opportunity to  partner closely with our (awesome) stakeholders including Digital Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to inform our various strategies. 

What you'll do:

  • Own web analytics at Billie, which will involve defining, transforming, testing and documenting data to ensure deep understanding of consumer behavior
  • Conduct analysis using data mining tools to support decision making for the organization
  • Work with stakeholders to design and build reports and capabilities that allow for more effective and transparent execution of business goals, particularly around customer conversion and LTV. 
  • Conduct exploratory research into our data, metrics and how we can better use along the customer journey
  • Lead design and analysis of A/B experiments that focus on maximizing customer LTV (increase conversion and reduce churn)
  • Partner with our Digital Product and Engineering team to solve problems and inform product decisions
  • Proactively seek out and investigate new technologies to advance Billie’s analytics practice

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years working in data and analytics
  • 2+ years of experience with applied statistics or experimentation in an industry setting
  • BS in Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative field is a plus 
  • Proficient in SQL (familiarity with dbt a plus!)
  • Experience in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. Amplitude or Mixpanel is a plus. 
  • Experience with R or Python for data analysis
  • Experience with one or more Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for conducting reproducible analysis; we believe in code review, version control, and solid documentation
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to build a best-in-class data practice
  • A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you
