Who we seek:
We’re seeking a talented and motivated R&D Team Leader to join our innovative startup in the security and privacy domain. Our company provides a cutting-edge data platform that enables organizations to manage internal data effectively, including scanning data sources to identify sensitive information such as PII. As the R&D Team Leader, you'll lead a team of 5-6 skilled engineers focused on the scans and discovery domain, guiding them to achieve technical excellence and drive impactful projects.
What you’ll do:
- Design, build, and deliver inventive, data-driven products to foster business growth
- Write high-quality code covered by solid unit and integration tests
- Make informed technological and architectural decisions while introducing new technologies and practices
- Review the design and code for other team members
What you’ll bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader and 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and Java.
Experience with React for frontend development, Jenkins for CI/CD, and Kubernetes and Helm for deployment on AWS. - Education: A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated experience working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
