What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust cloud applications utilizing Google Cloud Platform services.
- Develop custom components for our platform and implement them using industry standard workflows.
- Build reusable components and front end libraries.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Ensure components and overall application are robust, extensible and easy to maintain
- Optimize components that can render large amounts of data quickly and work across all browsers.
- Design, develop, fix and debug software programs for web applications, databases and tools.
- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication across all stages of the development cycle
- Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of Google Cloud Platform applications and services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply them as necessary to solve business problems
- Research and stay up to date with industry technology trends in regard to design and other methodologies.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of web development experience required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience required.
- Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with PHP is a plus but not required.
- Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Proficiency with Flask or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience with JWT and authorization.
- Proven experience designing, developing, fixing and debugging software programs for web applications, databases and tools
- Experience working on Cloud based solutions with modern cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes; microservices preferred.
- Specialized capacity to write and test and deploy web applications for front end graphics animations, with an unprecedented wizardry in visual design and feel for end users.
- Strong understanding of key software design principles and be familiar with DevOps methodologies such as Jenkins, Webhook, Git, Terraform, and Ansible
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as App Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Knowledge of API, REST, microservices and serverless architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships with current and potential customers
- Certifications in AWS and/or Google desired.
