ABOUT THE ROLE 

Better is looking for a Home Advisor to join our team based in Kihei, Hawaii. The Home Advisor organization is designed to give our customers a single point of contact when working through their home buying or refinancing journey. We aim to streamline the experience with a clear owner of the customer’s application and give us the ability to adapt to specific needs of different loan products and customer types. 

The Home Advisor (HA) is a client-facing role that serves as the primary point of contact throughout the entire customer journey. This role requires an NMLS license. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for providing excellent CX throughout all communication to the customer
  • Responsible for monitoring the pipeline to make sure all files stay on track and meet Production Targets
  • Executing on post-lock outreach cadences to ensure borrower-driven tasks are completed and files can be moved forward
  • Post-lock communication regarding title, appraisal, UW issues, denials, closing, funding, and servicing
  • Escalating customer concerns to appropriate contacts and ensuring the customer is presented with solutions 
  • Working with Sales Managers to handle price-related escalations where concessions may need to be applied (ex. shopping around, HA miscommunication, post-lock matching, etc.)
  • Effective cross team communication to ensure files move forward in a timely manner and any necessary requests are made to the customer as quickly as possible
  • Milestones/Segments Include:
    • Unengaged Day 1 (pre-lock)
    • Engaged Definitely (pre-lock)
    • Conditional Approval (post-lock)
    • Closing (post-lock)
    • Post-Funding (post-lock)
  • Possess NMLS licensure

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Remain in a stationary position 80% of the time
  • Constantly operate a computer and call headset
  • Able to exchange accurate information with clients and team via phone, video conference, email, and text chat
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Work at least one weekend day per month
