The People Programs Project Manager will be a critical member of two central People management teams: People Development (learning programs & systems, performance management & talent development, engagement strategy) and Total Rewards (compensation & equity, benefits, wellness). This cross-functional lead will ensure that we are maximizing efficiency and effectiveness of company-wide processes and programs that impact thousands of employees. They will be a partner to the program managers, complementing their subject matter expertise with a cohesive approach to organizing and managing projects, team capacity, and meeting deadlines. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our People Development and Total Rewards program managers/leaders to ensure that high priority, org-wide processes and initiatives are planned and executed to be efficient and effective:
    • Organizational / Employee Surveys & Reporting/Action Planning
    • Performance / Talent Review & Promotion Cycles
    • Compensation Review Cycle
    • Benefits Open Enrolment
    • Relevant high priority people programs (i.e., future of hybrid work, etc)
  • Representing People Development and Total Rewards on global People PMO Council
    • Participate in regular meeting with People Team Leads and project management peers to report on progress and complete capacity planning
    • Update People Org Exec memo with progress, blockers, metrics, and actions
    • Maintain calendar of projects & programs and program-specific project plans
    • Identify, flag, and resolve conflicts and/or opportunities for collaboration 
  • Improve planning, systems, and communication strategies to support effective implementations of policies and programs.
    • Design repeatable processes & templates for project management across teams
    • Work closely with partners to incorporate communications and change management into project plans and calendars
    • Proactively design methods to evaluate effectiveness of plans and measure impact of programs (defined in partnership with program leads)

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • 3+ years in a project manager or project lead capacity managing multiple projects at once (related industry/functional experience and/or certifications are a plus)
  • Passion for partnership, collaboration, and influencing peers and leaders
  • Strong attention to detail across a variety of different topics/projects/meetings
  • Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a changing and rapidly growing environment
  • Comfortable providing recommendations and tradeoffs to support decision making and progress; overcomes obstacles and is solution oriented
  • Experience supporting others to achieve results
  • Ability to drive alignment when consensus or agreement is not possible
  • Proficient in Google Suite products, Monday.com (or other project management tools)
