The role: Lead Copywriter, Performance + Product Marketing

We’re looking for a Lead Copywriter with experience across growth, performance, and product marketing to help us change the way people buy homes. This position directly supports our ACD of Copy in shaping the creative vision, ensuring quality, and elevating our approach to marketing.

You will work closely with a team of copywriters and designers to generate compelling and unique executions across multiple paid channels, both from marketing requests and from original ideas. You’ll create, pitch, and iterate on both measurable and abstract concepts with a variety of stakeholders. 

  • Pitch campaigns and concepts across our performance marketing channels 
  • Know how to write for scale and A/B testing, comfortable with constant iterating and pivoting, based on data driven insights
  • Become an expert in the homebuying and homeownership space
  • Develop go to market campaigns, including messaging across channels, and launch plans for new products/announcements
  • Partner with product marketing managers to identify the most compelling approaches to help craft narratives around product activations, feature launches, awareness campaigns, and more
  • Act as advocate for other writers and discover opportunities to meet marketing goals in new and novel ways

What we’re looking for in a Lead Copywriter, Performance + Product Marketing

  • You have at least 6 years copywriting experience
  • You have a portfolio that shows a rich, creative spectrum of work across growth/performance, product marketing, brand and social media
  • You know what works across different channels and can spot opportunities 
  • You can explain take complex information and reframe it in a way that anyone can understand
  • You are at least somewhat familiar with the world of finance (or you're down to learn)
  • You are empathetic by nature and work well with others
  • You’re at the expert level in G-suite (bonus if you know your way around Figma)
  • You’re a self-motivated individual who doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • You take criticism in your stride and know when to stand up for your ideas
