Join our dynamic team at Betsson Group, a leading online gaming company with a strong presence in Lithuania. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in administrating our group companies and ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
 
 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Administer Betsson group companies in Lithuania (at the moment 2 companies).
  • Manage accounting documents such as purchase invoices, expense reports, GL entries, fixed asset accounting, and bank payment preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including bank statements, cash, and cash register records.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, payroll returns, and statistical reports in a timely manner.
  • Support regular inventories of company assets and ensure compliance with tax, legal, and accounting regulations.
  • Actively participate in monthly and year-end closing procedures and financial statement audits.
  • Handle payroll duties, including calculation, payment, and administering changes in the payroll system.
  • Resolve any payroll calculation or primary accounting-related issues and employee queries.
  • Complete the company's accounting, close tax periods, and prepare annual financial statements for approval.
  • Prepare tax reports and declarations, submitting them to state institutions on time.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Flexibility, can-do attitude, and eagerness to learn new things.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both spoken and written).
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of previous work experience as an accountant with payroll duties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting systems. We are using "Pay Premium" and "Finvalda."
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Lithuanian tax and accounting regulations.
  • Results-oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
