The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful management and delivery of the Group’s high priority and strategic projects, which are either part or independent of a program.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business 
  • To develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs 
  • To provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones 
  • To own the full project life cycle: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously 
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related sub-streams to ensure the overall project is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives 
  • To report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities 
  • To participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to benefit the project’s structure and governance 
  • To prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project 
  • To provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership 
  • To understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs 
  • To manage project scope and changes 
  • To assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration or litigation, as needed 
  • To coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project’s teams/streams 
  • To ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards 
  • To manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline 
  • To initiate extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise 
  • To be agile and support on side projects depending on the need and priority decided by Business
