The Beto for America team is seeking a SeniorOrganizingManager to join a robust national organizing team. The SeniorOrganizingManager will assist with implementation of an ambitious national organizing program that includes both staff and volunteer leadership.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and manage a team of organizers and volunteer leaders in key states across the country
Work directly with seniororganizing leadership to implement all aspects of the national organizing program
Hire and oversee organizing staff focused on states that vote on Super Tuesday and beyond
Clearly communicate organizing program priorities, needs, and expectations to staff
Hold organizing teams accountable to programmatic metrics, and implement strategies to help teams meet weekly and monthly organizing metrics
Provide additional support and accountability for the organizing program, particularly in states where no staff is present
Other duties as assigned
Experience managing staff required; three or more cycles on a campaign preferred
Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
Willingness to work extensive hours, including nights and weekends
Strong interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to motivate staff members and volunteers
Ability to problem solve effectively and creatively
This job is based in the campaign headquarters in El Paso, TX.
