Role Overview

Bring the mission of The Willows Event Center to reality by connecting, serving and inspiring through the prep and execution of events and weddings. The Event Experience Specialist will provide an excellent guest experience while working with internal and external clients from event planning through the day of coordination and execution.

 

Core Functions

  • Serve our internal employees by detailing and planning their events in the Event Center and around Home Office.
  • Communicate with the Willows' Sales Specialist to create a seamless client hand-off and establish rapport and relationships after clients book.
  • Use sales techniques to upsell add-ons to meet monthly sales goals.
  • Respond to client requests in a timely manner ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Review event details with clients, respond quickly to last-minute changes, and answer questions to customer satisfaction.
  • Set up & execute planning meetings and tastings with clients as well as day of coordination for select events.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Restaurant environment.
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.).
  • Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds.

 

Hours and Schedule

  • Part-time 20 - 29 hours per week.
  • Days and weekends required.
  • Saturdays required.
