JOB SUMMARY

Be part of a team dedicated to serving and supporting The Willows Event Center patrons and uncovering their event center needs. Positively improve the service and offerings we provide to our hosts. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in ensuring proactive planning, communication and administrative work for weddings and other types of events
  • Answering phone calls and leads, touring, and building proposals in our software system
  • Practice empathy with your team member(s), prospects and event center clients in ways that enhance customer service 
  • Assist in all aspects of planning events, working with clients, event coordination, etc
  • Assist with day of wedding execution and coordination
  • Reviews event details with clients, assist to help with any last minute changes, and answer questions to customers satisfaction
  • Assist with scheduling detail meetings and follow up tours for the Wedding Specialists
  • Attend all trainings and participate in coaching exercises, which include regular video shops/game film by a third party
  • Performs any other job-related duties as assigned
  • Constantly seeks ways to improve The Willows Event Center guest experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND P HYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Works mostly in a temperature controlled environment
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
  • Superior communication skills with co-workers, customers, trade partners and vendors
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance 
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift 15-30 pounds

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Variable hours generally not to exceed 30 hours per week based on events scheduled
  • After hours and full weekend availability will be necessary for events 
  • Lunch meetings and events outside of normal working hours are required
  • Occasional travel to other company regions or event locations is required
