Job Summary

Build homes to the highest standards in a team environment with systems created for efficiency, effectively maintaining quality and timely completion to serve each buyer in an impactful way.

Serve as the face of the company and the point of contact during construction, seeking to genuinely develop and preserve relationships that convert customers into evangelical Betenbough homebuyers. Be part of a team dedicated to serving Betenbough homebuyers and their needs.


Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver Betenbough quality and value 
  • Build relationships daily with trade partners, vendors, and Betenbough Team Members
  • Maintain responsibility for all work performed in the construction phase that you are assigned
  • Attend the daily production meeting promptly and prepared to answer any questions
  • Ensure that trade partners complete their work on time
  • Inspect all work for quality and completion for payment approval
  • Schedule and direct trade partners daily
  • Ensure the home site is clean at every stage, every home, with every trade
  • Be thorough at all inspection points. In-Progress Inspections that are done with detail are necessary to maintain our quality of construction
  • Develop an organizational system that allows high efficiency and response ness
  • In-Progress Inspections should be completed in a timely manner upon completion of work (within 10 working hours)
  • Communicate to manager about construction progress, needs, and concerns
  • Manage construction process daily
  • Hold trade partners accountable to city codes and company quality standards
  • Continue to improve the quality of the finished home daily
  • Follow and embrace fundamental sales and construction process that encourages repeat buyers and customer referrals while building Betenbough Homes brand reputation
  • Conduct daily follow-up calls with homebuyers
  • Professionally answer emails and phone calls and respond to all communication in a timely manner
  • Professionally demonstrate Frame Tours, Welcome Home Celebrations, homesites, and communities to current homebuyers
  • Serve as an advocate for the homebuyer throughout the construction process and communicate all homebuyer concerns to Betenbough Homes' builder team
  • Manage Experience Events - coordinate and facilitate all homeowner experience events
  • Coordinate with the entire construction team and assure that every home is ready for the experience event you arc planning to facilitate i.e. Frame Tour and welcome Home Orientation
  • Manage Calendar of Events - assure that dates are accurate, project upcoming dates, and schedule events with homebuyers
  • Manage Betenbough Homes yard signs - ensure that signs are fresh and standing
  • Practice empathy with your team members and homebuyers in ways that enhance customer service/satisfaction and support their individual missions
  • Attend all trainings and fully participate in coaching exercises, which include sessions with your manager and/or sales coach and regular video shops/game film by third party
  • Develop a general "all around" knowledge of the building process to answer construction related questions with homebuyers and make timely and professional communication with all buyers in the construction schedule

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Works outside in uncontrolled conditions. Position will be subjected to possible extreme weather and driving conditions (rain, snow, high winds, and sandstorms)
  • Vision for near, mid-range, and far. Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch
  • Superior communication skills when dealing with coworkers, trade partners, and homeowners
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking on uneven surfaces (concrete, rock, etc.), reaching above head and below waist, climbing ladders, and walking on roofs
  • Ability to navigate hazardous conditions such as frequent moving vehicles, construction equipment, and various
  • construction materials
  • Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle legally and safely


Work Schedule

  • Average 50 hours per week (7am-5pm, M-F)
  • After hours and weekends may he necessary on occasion for trips or to Meet Deadlines
  • Position is Exempt from overtime
