Position Description

Bertram Capital is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join the firm’s operations in its San Francisco Bay Area headquarters or Remote. We hire personable, self-starters who exhibit professionalism and exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience in Finance or Venture Capital
  • Effective communication skills with team members and candidates, including writing, speaking, with good video and email etiquette
  • Care deeply about candidate experience and enjoy delivering a positive, personalized experience to your candidates
  • Ability to influence hiring decisions with your independent judgment and neutrality
  • Experience with instituting Diversity and Inclusion hiring programs is a plus

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full-cycle recruitment, including defining profiles to fill, advertising channels, and selection process
  • Advertise the jobs and source candidates
  • Screen applications, approach candidates, and conduct initial screening 
  • Manage candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions and onboard new hires on their first day
  • Use data to identify blockers to hiring and communicate this to everyone on the hiring team
