IT Help Desk Specialist
Summary
The Bernie 2020 campaign is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist. The IT Help Desk Specialist will provide IT support to staff across the country, responding to tickets and performing other IT support tasks as needed. This position reports to the IT & Cybersecurity Director.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as first point of contact for IT support tickets submitted by staff across the country
- Respond to IT support tickets clarifying problems and gathering requirements
- Perform remote troubleshooting via Email, Phone and Chat
- Determine solutions to resolve issues or escalate issues as needed
- Document solutions and follow up with users to ensure issues have been solved
- Help write documentation about IT processes, including policies, procedures and guides for campaign staff
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding of staff, including creation and removal of account access and devices
- Provide in-person IT support (if in DC office)
- Help improve our IT operation by contributing recommendations to workflows, procedure and more
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT & Cybersecurity Director
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years IT support experience
- Ability to self manage and thrive in a high pressure, fast paced campaign environment sometimes requiring night and weekend work
- Experience troubleshooting computers and smartphones
- Experience with device management platforms
- A keen eye for detail and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong alignment to Bernie 2020 campaign platform
Salary
$65,000
Supervisory Duties
- None
