BerlinRosen serves clients across practice areas with teams focused on a wide variety of issues related to racial justice, politics, culture and more. This role will work with teams across the firm sitting on the Strategic Campaigns team, which works with advocacy organizations, nonprofits, leaders in arts and culture, film and entertainment, as well as philanthropic foundations, labor unions and others focused on racial and economic justice. 

Note: This role is currently fully remote within the U.S. on Eastern Time, and will be based in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, California or New York, New York when we return to our offices in a hybrid model (date TBD). Our return to office plan is contingent on public health safety protocols. On an optional basis, our DC and NY offices are currently open to staff (with proof of vaccination).



BerlinRosen is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Influencer Engagement to lead celebrity and digital influencer engagement and activations for a variety of clients in the corporate, philanthropic and nonprofit spaces. 

This position provides a unique opportunity to play a role on a talented and motivated team working on strategizing and executing advocacy and purpose-driven influencer campaigns for clients, as well as developing and nurturing relationships with key celebrity and digital creator talent and their representation.

The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for leveraging celebrity and creator engagement to generate advocacy and create impact. You have a pulse on culture, social platforms and the influencers driving engagement. You’ve led highly creative digital campaigns for consumer brands and/or non-profit organizations and are able to engage with all levels of influencers. You’ve engaged celebrity talent through a suite of client integrations from in-person events to ambassador programs and endorsement deals as well as creative content production. You are able to adapt to client requests and problem solve. Experience with talent relations is a must.  



As a Senior Account Executive on our Strategic Campaigns team, you will...

  • Provide client counsel on the best influencer strategy based on goals and a strong business case for their particular brand
  • Collaborate with client teams to strategize and execute influencer campaigns; provide strong counsel to clients and colleagues on social/digital/influencer best practices
  • Build connections and strong relationships with influencer representatives, talent agencies, management companies and public relations firms
  • Build connections and strong relationships with digital influencers
  • Develop and execute influencer campaigns from strategic and creative development, identification of creators, outreach and relationship management, negotiations and contracts, content approvals and measurement
  • Build detailed client-facing pitches and post engagement performance reports 
  • Establish a centralized influencer database, clear protocols and criteria for all influencer activations
  • Identify, recruit and onboard influencers for activations
  • Draft and edit talent/influencer materials including travel itineraries, creative briefs, client materials, memos, agendas, talking points, pitches, fact sheets, FAQs, briefing notes, and client correspondence
  • Participate in business development efforts focused on influencer engagement 

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, public relations, marketing or a related field or relevant work experience
  • 4 years agency (or in-house) experience in digital/social media role with heavy experience driving influence marketing or public relations with heavy experience in celebrity engagement/ talent booking   
  • An ability to balance creativity with pragmatic execution
  • An ability to work with varied clients, non-profit and corporate 
  • Ability to navigate varied spaces, grasstops and nonprofit 
  • Experience in the entertainment industry, contacts at agencies, management companies, and public relations firms
  • Experience creating high impact storytelling and narrative campaigns
  • Utilization of influencer tools and knowledge of social platforms
  • Strong networking skills a must
  • Strong news sense and knowledge of the media 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Multi-tasks easily; has the ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to details and communicating clearly internally
  • Knowledge of pop culture and understanding of influencer landscape
  • Deep understanding of social platform capabilities and paid social strategy
  • Experience working with all levels of influencers (from micro to celebrity)
  • Excellent people relations skills with ability to work collaboratively and adapt to pivots
