Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead specialising in full-stack development, with outstanding expertise in both frontend and backend technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining robust e-commerce solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. This position presents an unmatched opportunity to work in a dynamic market and directly influence customer engagement.
What you will do:
- As a technical leader, you’ll lead by example and establish engineering best practices like code reviews, best programming standards, creating architectural blueprints & providing t-shirt sizing guidelines for the team.
- You own the technical road map & manage delivery timelines for the initiatives.
- You act as an advocate to create qualitative documentation & establish better development processes.
- You are responsible for unblocking the team & pair program with the team to see through task completion.
- You are responsible for assessing risks & continuously proposing risk mitigation workflows into the system.
- You will work closely with Product Owner, QA & devops to continuously improve the existing processes & optimise the way of execution across systems.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development with 2+ years of Tech leadership experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and functionalities.
- Develop responsive web applications in frontend technologies including vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL/SQL and Ajax other JS libraries/plugins.
- Proficiency in backend development using PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symphony, with experience in OXID shop system/similar e-commerce shop system is a plus.
- Eager to learn new technologies & continuously finds opportunities to improve the system & solve problems.
- Familiar with agile methodologies & scrum processes.
- You love solution design & creating architectural diagrams to add value to the POCs & knowledge base.
- You believe in automation, qualitative development ensuring high test coverage
- Good communication skills in English written and spoken.
