This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape BBG’s strategically highly relevant Mergers & Acquisitions Department. You will take ownership of your market (country or segment) and you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring top Amazon sellers.
You will develop a detailed understanding for success factors in your market. Which contact channels are working? How to find and attract most promising sellers. You will work in close alignment with your counterparts in M&A as well as cross-functionally with a wide variety of departments: Legal, Finance, Operations, Product Development, Channel Management and Marketing.

Your responsibilities:

  • You identify, reach out to and engage with a large number of brands & sellers within the UK and US markets; besides generating leads and managing funnel, you will also support communications during due diligence and subsequent negotiations
  • You identify and optimize communication channels for UK and US
  • You develop a network of brokers and multipliers within UK and US
  • You conduct first analysis of Amazon seller’s fit and sales history, including basic legal assessment
  • You promote Berlin Brands Group through persistent outreach (phone and email)
  • You manage our email marketing systems and create documentations of your work in our CRM system

Your profile:

  • 4+ years of experience in e-Commerce or Amazon, or similar roles in Venture Capital, Private Equity, or M&A environment
  • You are already familiar with e-Commerce KPIs and financial statements.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to dig through data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • You are capable of handling deadlines and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with fire drills coming up on a near-daily basis.
  • You are a highly analytical (proficiency in Excel is a must) self-starter who can manage multiple projects and figure out complex problems without a lot of oversight.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally in a diverse environment, always bringing positive attitude, reliability and transparency.
  • You speak English native/bilingual level; you have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a high level of organization and attention to detail.
