Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Berlin Brands Group in regards to inbound tasks
  • You control and monitor the import shipments including the departure and arrival times of our containers
  • You coordinate the booking requests of our Chinese suppliers and service providers and you are the first contact person in case of inquiries regarding the processes
  • You are responsible for the optimization of logistics processes
  • You derive recommendations for actions based on analyses to control the operational performance, in particular regarding cost reduction and efficiency increase
  • You develop sustainable solutions for errors and performance bottlenecks and identify starting points for new projects
  • You are the contact person for other internal departments such as warehouse logistics and purchasing as well as for external service providers and suppliers

Your profile:

  • Ideally, you have successfully completed your studies with a focus on economics/logistics/supply chain or a similar field of study
  • Alternatively, you have completed an apprenticeship in a comparable field and already have several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably with reference to sea freight
  • You score with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • You have very good knowledge in the use of MS-Office programs, especially Excel, and are familiar with an inventory management system
  • You ideally have first experiences in using Power BI and SQL
  • You are characterized by a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, assertiveness and team spirit
  • Your English and Mandarin language skills (written and spoken) are very good, German as well as other languages are an advantage
