Sr. Software Engineer (Peoplesoft and Workday)
Position Summary
The Workday & Peoplesoft Techno functional Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing and supporting Workday & Peoplesoft applications.
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.
- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems using Peoplesoft across a wide array of HR & Financials domains.
- Collaborate regularly and effectively with product owners, engineers, architects, and product design to understand requirements, implement solutions, and evaluate success.
- Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
- Provide technical expertise while planning to help clarify requirements, plan out potential implementations, and measure success.
- Support teams in delivering quality features, debugging, and incident responses.
- Consult with the product leadership teams to define goals with measurable key performance indicators when needed.
- Consult with teams in defining, documenting, and evolving best practices.
- Seek and be receptive to feedback and coaching from others.
- Offer demos, code reviews, and recommendations to help the teams be more productive and deliver better products.
- Provide training to engineers on core platform technologies, methods, tools, and patterns.
- Advise and consult in hiring and advancement.
- Set and strive toward reaching professional development goals.

SKILLS Required
- Workday Integrations experience - EIB, XSLT, XML, Studio and BIRT.
- Peoplesoft - PeopleTools, Peoplecode, Application Engine, CI, SQR
- RDBMS – SQL Server or Oracle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
- 6-8 years of combined experience developing and delivering technical solutions in a corporate environment.
- At least 4 years of development experience with Workday and the Peoplesoft ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- At least 2 years of working experience of any of the WD financials modules: Financials accounting, Banking & Settlement, Supplier Accounts
- At least 2 years of Peoplesoft experience with strong workforce admin knowledge.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Strong written skills to accommodate quality technical documentation.
- Prior Peoplesoft admin/server maintenance knowledge is a plus.
- Proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams.
