Role: Manager Communications

Role reports to : Vice President, Berkadia India Corporate Communications
Shift timings : 11 am to 8 pm (could require to work till 11 pm occasionally)
Travel requirements: Occasionally

Job summary:
The Manager communications will support the VP communications in all aspects of internal and external communications for Berkadia India.
We’re looking for accomplished candidates with an interest in:
- Composing and writing content for email communications/information updates
- Developing and implementing effective communication campaigns to support Berkadia India strategic objectives
- Has a good understanding and application of design and visual content
- Specialization in brand and reputation management
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support VP Comms in developing and implementing effective employee communication strategies for Berkadia India
- Establish governance and guidelines within Berkadia Hyderabad to ensure streamlining of the communications is established.
- Create brand awareness and communication campaigns, building story telling narratives by getting collaterals developed through online and print media
- Support all site branding across India sites
- Responsible for the editorial review of collaterals, newsletters, leadership messaging through mediums of newsletters, Intranet, email and other informative channels
- Creating, monitoring and managing all communication channels to ensure robust messaging
- Advising on relevant changes to presentations for senior management from a branding perspective
- Enhancing the presence of the site on social media, in line with the company's objectives
- Assists in supporting the ongoing evolving culture and values of the organization
- Collaborate with leadership to support central and industry initiatives
- An ability to plan and coordinate company-wide special events, vendor management, and employee engagement.
- Seek out creative and innovative ways and opportunities for elevating the Berkadia brand internally
Experience and Qualifications
- Must be a Graduate with a degree in communications, or journalism, or public relations or relevant field.
- Overall 10 -12 years of overall work experience
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in corporate communications
- Impeccable written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Should have an ability to use digital media to enhance messaging.
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with an eye for details
- An ability to design and create content on an online platform to include intranet, SharePoint etc.
