Bachelors degree or equivalent is required
At least 2 Relevant Cloud or Infrastructure Certifications
- Owns portions of a feature, PBI or small module
- Able to work on tasks independently
- Able to work on unit and Integration testing indpendently
- Able to work on security fixes independently
- Able to perfom DevOps activities independently
- Able to perform end-to-end testing independently
- Relevant Technology Knowledge - OS, languages, applications, database concepts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), emerging technologies, cloud computing platform (E.g.. AWS, Azure etc.)
- Domain knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge of Agile principles and practices
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
- Knowledge of Security Principles and Practices
- Analyze/ evaluate and bring out the strengths / weaknesses of the frameworks / tools
- Assist in identifying integration opportunities for new and emerging technologies
- Understand business and contribute in fine tuning business needs
- Utilize it to enhance success, improve decision making and deliver insights
- Analyze requirements (functional/ non-functional) and work towards seeking clarity from relevant stakeholders
- Create requirement management artifacts (such as traceability matrix, etc.)
- Develop infrastructure solutions as per the requirement specifications independently
- Lead the build, configuration and documentation of IT infrastructure
- Review solutions developed by Engineers, providing insight and guidance
- Identify and assess incremental improvements for infrastructure engineering process, methodology and tools
- Recommend appropriate framework, approach, solution to meet the functional and non-functional requirements
- Design information architecture, process flow and user interface designs
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to standards and service level objectives
- Contribute in defining security specifications of components and integrating security controls
- Develop a solution ensuring the security requirements are met
- Design and develop interfaces across defined areas for multiple applications & infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end process of infrastructure & application integration, determining suitable testing procedures and resolving issues that arise
- Follow the process (e.g. naming standards, version control etc.) within the area of work
- Check in/ check out the latest versions
- Maintain product versions in line with specific requirements & practice protocol
- Label, track and document all configuration items and changes to infrastructure
- Perform CI/CD activities based on plans to build, test, deploy release packages into live environment
- Apply maintenance process, SLA metrics and best practices for resolution
- Identify nature of issues (including bottle-necks, optimization areas etc.), trends and root causes, come up with remedial action
- Gather feedback from user to work on user enhancement requests
- Understand the estimates and resource plan for the product
- Assess existing quality standards and align processes and activities with IT product and service quality expectations
- Prepare reports on assessment findings and associate risks
- Review test scenarios covering all the features and functionalities to be tested, optimize test coverage and identify accelerators to be used
- Analyze and report on performance metrics
- Establish key metrics to measure overall health, availability and performance of infrastructure solutions & systems
- Participate in necessary Agile (Kanban/Scrum) ceremonies i.e kanban, sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standup etc.
- Raise concerns within own area of work in a timely manner and implement the same under guidance
- Understand and adhere to the various documentation and standards that need to followed and used
- Understand product governance and facilitate communication with the right stakeholders
- Plan work to deliver iteration goals
- Work on iterative development and continuous feedback integration in infrastructure solutions & software development
- Consistently reflect and find ways to improve and enhance infrastructure & software features
- Ensure alignment and adherence to Agile principles and values
- Identify key stakeholder relationships, needs, interests and communicate on need basis
- Monitor knowledge management process and consume/contribute knowledge artefacts.
- Guide usage of artefacts and promote the same
- Create and track product specific KT plans and provide training to others
- Engage in collaborate learning by discussing one's learning with others and soliciting feedback
- Engage in formal / informal collaboration for more orderly workflows
- Design and implement modern solutions to leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance availability, performance and ongoing operational support (AIOps, Self-Healing, etc)
- Advanced Understanding of cloud computing and the associated products offered (EC2, S3, Azure VMs, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of hybrid cloud
- Ability to analyze requirements and help choose the appropriate cloud architecture: IaaS vs PaaS, vs SaaS
- Help to plan, design and develop cloud-related applications and software
- Plan infrastructure and application workload migration from on-premises to the cloud, including refactoring the application to be more cloud native
