Position Summary

The Sr Product Designer plays a key role in defining more efficient and intuitive workflows leveraging emerging technologies in machine learning, with a goal to deliver end-to-end software solutions for portfolio applications.



Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.

  • 4+ years of experience design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile or award-winning products
  • Take ownership of product/feature to creatively solve user pain points
  • Work with Product teams to execute end-to-end design deliverables
  • A problem solver driven to create elegant solutions exemplifying simple, smart transactions and workflows
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and contribute to early product definition
  • Energized by working in autonomous, self-organizing, cross functional teams
  • Detail oriented, accountable, and continuously improving your process and craft
  • Fluent in design process and able to guide junior designers
  • Facilitating group ideation workshops, collaborating with, and guiding stakeholders, SME’s, Engineers and other Designers.
  • Discovering unmet user needs and defining the business value in all efforts
  • Co-leading an agile product squad with the engineer architect and product manager.
  • Assisting in defining and maintaining a design system across the product portfolio.
  • Working to produce high quality deliverables through all phases of the project.
  • Participating in visioning and conceptual exercises; establishing POV and future state
  • Being an active partner in creating a design culture of human centered innovation.
  • Iterating designs quickly with a Lean UX mindset

Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the experience required.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a product designer of a UX/UI team through the product development cycle of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate experience
  • 2+ years’ engaging in user research and testing
  • 5 years’ experience designing wireframes and prototypes
  • 5 years’ experience facilitating and documenting user and stakeholder interviews
  • Portfolio demonstrating design methods, processes, tools, and best practices (contextual interviews, analysis and synthesis, journey maps, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing)
  • Data-heavy application design desired
  • Deep understanding and/or contributing to design systems is a plus


Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Previous Experience

Five to seven years prior experience  in a similar position.
