The Opportunity: 

If you're a collaborative problem solver who takes pride in fostering great resident and homeowner relationships, step into this critical role as a Leasing Advisor. Managing a portfolio of 35 homes, you'll be responsible for driving lease execution by following up with tour attendees, overseeing the application process and writing up leases, all ensuring a frictionless experience for the resident while ensuring you are placing the highest quality resident. In addition, you will drive positive CSATs for homeowners in your portfolio through weekly updates reviewing their homes interest, lead feedback, number of applications while proposing strategies for optimizing interest with the goal of getting their home loved. 

Your member-obsessed mindset and willingness to own end-to-end will guide you in the win-win partnership of reducing vacancy for our homeowner, but at the highest price the market will enable for qualified residents. Responsibilities: 

  • Ultimately, this team member is setting out to achieve getting homes loved quickly, in 21 days or less
  • Proactively & strategically managing a portfolio of homes: this may include exploring outside of the box thinking and enlisting sales tactics to achieve the ultimate goal of strong portfolio management. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends using market knowledge and personal portfolio, to create competitive strategies for your homes. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other teams to ensure a smooth transition for both homeowners and future residents.

Day to day duties include: 

  • Lead Conversion: Bridging the gap between Belong and the lead to gather feedback and assist in converting them to an applicant. 
  • Application Processing: Determine prospective tenants leasing eligibility through income verification, credit qualification, landlord references and resident interviews.
  • Achieving Leasing Goals: Execute leases to ensure the satisfaction of the resident, homeowner, and Belong.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards, local laws, and company ethics, upholding Belong’s commitment to responsible business practices.
  • Maintain Positive Relations: Receive and implement homeowner and resident feedback to improve quality of service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience, with proficiency in leasing or real estate activities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in real estate, property management, or residential construction is highly advantageous but not required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient skills in Google Workplace, Slack, and familiarity with property management software and tools.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: Real Estate License, Project Management Professional (PMP), or other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
