The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Belong. You will be responsible for assisting in building, developing and maintaining the financial infrastructure of the company. You will help support the financial models, assist in month end close, and help run financial reporting and analysis.

- You do thorough work, and are organized in the way you manage your workload to multitask when necessary and meet deadlines.
What You'll Own:
- Help analyze and maintain financial modeling
- Work with Business leaders to help them understand their budgets
- Run ad hoc Finance projects
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP
- Prepare accurate and timely journal entries during monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis
- Support the financial analysis process.
- Frequent interaction with teams to analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and collaborate with respective teams to resolve issues
- Proactively identify process improvements and aid in implementation of improvements, documentation, and automation with the goal of streamlining the month end close process
- Create, maintain, update, and evaluate financial system policies & procedures
Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Demonstrates technical accounting proficiency and good professional judgment in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at accounting solutions
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity working with, summarizing, and manipulating large data sets in MS Excel (pivot tables, filtering data, etc.)
Working schedule:
- 9:30 am ET - 6:30 pm ET
- This is an onsite working opportunity (Miami)
