The Growth Team

The Growth Team at Belong fuels the engine of our marketplace business and is responsible for driving new homeowner acquisition through both digital and offline channels. Our team is data driven, intentional, and intellectually curious, operating in a hands-on capacity running channels directly whenever possible rather than working with agency partners. We are a group of outcome oriented, thoughtful, strategic, and analytical operators who are committed to sharing Belong with the world.

About the Role:

We are looking for the right teammate to join Belong as our newest Growth Marketing Channel Manager, overseeing homeowner acquisition through paid media channels including Search, Affiliate, and Outbound Calling. To be successful in this role, you must be self motivated and have experience scaling paid media channels efficiently with limited resources and support. This is a hands-on role.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to drive a meaningful impact from day one as the owner of several growth channels, which includes setting channel strategy, leading creative development workstreams, personally owning channel execution, running performance analysis, and implementing daily optimizations. At Belong, we are outcome driven and expect the Channel Manager to run the show for the channels they own, driving success through the achievement of our predetermined metrics-based goals. They're given a tremendous amount of responsibility to deploy media dollars efficiently and proactively, working closely with a slew of important cross-functional peers including creatives, product managers, engineers, analysts, account managers, accountants, and more.

Responsibilities to include:

  1. Ownership of multiple paid acquisition channels, with the responsibility to operate within specific CPL and CPA performance targets, and to increase media spend in lockstep with our company’s growth trajectory. 
  2. Uphold the standard for excellent channel management at Belong, personally launching, running, and optimizing media campaigns across channels, in addition to working with and managing 3rd party outbound callers. 
  3. Develop a robust test-and-learn plan to improve spend efficiency, rooted in deep customer empathy and meticulously tracked performance metrics.
  4. Set up and manage tracking tags across all performance marketing channels working with our frontend development team, using Google Tag Manager.
  5. Find, negotiate, and implement effective affiliate partnerships to expand our pay-for-performance programs. 
  6. Work internally with content writers and graphic designers to develop new landing pages, ads and targeting ideas.
  7. Provide visibility throughout the organization on the health and status of acquisition programs, including daily & weekly recap reports with summary digest, guidance on volume relative to plan, monthly growth analytics meeting prep and reporting, creative learning sharing, create test launches, etc.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
  • 2+ years of experience in growth marketing 
  • 2+ years of experience running paid search campaigns
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Robust problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
  • The ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Experience and track record in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment

Working schedule:
