POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President, Market Growth is responsible for driving membership in Belong Health markets. This person is responsible for developing and overseeing strategies to drive new membership and to retain existing members. The Vice President, Market Growth will work across the organization and collaborate with the sales leadership counterparts at Belong Health partner organizations to ensure that sales strategies are well designed, developed, and executed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the Belong Health growth strategy in each Belong Health market. Develop targeted sales plans to drive member acquisition in local markets across the Belong Health product portfolio
- Develop pipeline management strategy centered around identifying and converting qualified conversion of members and make recommendations for ideal recruitment strategy (example, brokers, captive agents)
- Create a structured process for reviewing the performance of sales activity and creating remediation plans when necessary
- Collaborate with Partners on designing, developing, and configuring marketing and sales technology including but not limited to CRM and marketing data lake
- Collaborate with community partners and Health Plan partners on strategies to create momentum and build brand awareness and affinity
EDUCATION, TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Deep knowledge of New York State competitive landscape and community organizations
- 10+ years of experience in health insurance sales/marketing
- 5+ years of experience selling DSNPs, CSNP and other special needs plans
- Ideally has experience selling both a regional product and selling national products
- Proven track record of executing sales plans
