We’re on the search for a Finance Officer who is excited to help our team maintain strong financial controls during a time of rapid growth. As Bellroy’s Finance Officer you’ll be in charge of our payables process and assist with other reconciliations/processes in the finance team. YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU… 

  • Have at least 1-2 years of finance experience, perhaps lots more (we are open to a wide range of backgrounds and parents returning to work are very welcome to apply)
  • Know your way around spreadsheets & word documents
  • Have the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly (we use Google suite and Netsuite is our ERP system so previous exposure would be beneficial)
  • Possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills with a sharp eye for detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
  • Have a desire to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Think a workplace with dogs, coffee, breakout spaces and casual dresscode sounds like a great place to spend your working days (once we are able to  get back there!)

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK YOU MIGHT HAVE:

  • Worked with the Financial Accountant on our end of month balance sheet reconciliations Reconciled some bank accounts
  • Checked freight and warehousing charges for discrepancies against the benchmarks
  • Assisted the Finance Manager with an ad-hoc project like gathering the data a new payments process/automation 
  • Worked through our finance email and responded to our customer queries

This is a full-time role based in our Fitzroy / Collingwood office (once we are able to return).
