OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate has a deep technical and functional understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) and can work both independently and lead teams to drive system changes that help our Human Resources business operate. This position will report to the Senior Manager, HR Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay up to date on technology trends. Demonstrates the ability to understand the HR and payroll business processes to effectively recommend technical solutions
- Facilitate and document user requirements. Create, update and govern data mapping documentation for global HR system integrations. Define and document integration designs to a third party or internal systems
- Identify system impact as a result of changes, estimate time and effort to make system changes. Manage system changes from development to deployment. Plan and schedule system changes in accordance to a global change calendar. Manage integration testing cycles between developers, vendors, and business partners. Assist in executing, analyzing or triaging results of integration tests
- Triage issues across the HR system technologies and Integration platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement or coordinate fixes being completed by other teams as required. Provides key input to facilitate the decision-making process
- Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders in multiple regions
- Manage implementation of third party certificates such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Single Sign-on (SSO). Manage external vendors to deliver appropriate technical system support and deliver on service level agreements (SLAs). Manage incidents and request tickets in the ServiceNow system. Create reports to track status as needed
- Translate business requirements into high quality functional and technical documentation that define system changes such as configurations, custom code changes, programs, reports, or forms; leading and participating in continuous improvement activities that improve the performance of our systems and team.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- 7+ years of experience in an Information Technology job with Architecture, Design, Development, Deployment, and operations experience.
- Experience with implementation and support of HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors. System configuration experience in Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding, Career Site Builder, Performance & Goal Management and Compensation.
- Data Mapping or Solution Design experience with Integration platforms. Experience in ABAP, XML, HTML, API, CSS, Groovy Script, Java Script
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills with regards to identifying problems and distilling complex topics into simple frameworks that a non-technical audience can understand
- Good working knowledge of Technology Project Management concepts such as Agile SCRUM and Waterfall. Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design and service management practices
- Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to determine the appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations. Ability to engage with and present ideas to senior leadership. Ability to negotiate and manage conflict to resolve problems
- Customer-focused, seeking constantly to understand the problems being faced and the solutions that may work best from the customer's point of view (internal and external customers)
- Demonstrates technical curiosity in order to keep up with technology trends and changes, grow their own technical competency, and expand beyond their existing skills
- This position requires you to be in office either out of our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles or our office in San Ramon and work onsite 3 days/week
The base salary range for this position is $165,000-$200,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
