OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented Business Process Engineer with a strong background in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will blend their expertise in software engineering with a keen understanding of business processes to drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. This role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing software solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.  The candidate will be expected to improve processes throughout the organization; however, their focus will be on Manufacturing, Production, Omnichannel, Supply Chain, Ecommerce / Retail and Logistics operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Design and develop software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize industry best practices and methodologies to implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify areas for further refinement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on software development best practices, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in software engineering and business process management, recommending innovative solutions to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful implementation of software solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex concepts and technical information in a clear and concise manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows, with a demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with process modeling and analysis tools such as BPMN, Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-$140,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
