About the job  

As the Global Manager, Risk Management at BEES, you will be part of the FinTech team and play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of risk within the BEES Platform. This includes overseeing risks associated with FinTech operations such as credit and payments as well as other potential risks that may impact our platform such as BEES Rewards program. Your expertise will contribute to the integrity and security of our platform operations, ensuring a reliable and secure environment for businesses around the world

 

What you'll do  

  • Develop and implement a holistic risk management framework covering all facets of BEES' B2B online fintech and marketplace operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify, analyze, and prioritize potential risks across credit transactions, payments, cybersecurity, compliance, and other relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce risk management policies, procedures, and controls that are scable and sustainable for ABI Business Units as well as BEES marketplace partners
  • Drive the development of advanced analytics and monitoring capabilities, extracting actionable insights from extensive data within and beyond the BEES Platform
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, changes, and best practices to ensure BEES' adoption of effective risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including domain-specific experts and industry leaders to strengthen risk mitigation measures.
  • Partner with product and technology teams to implement and optimize risk management tools and technologies ensuring alignemtn BEES’ strategic goals
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture specifically attuned to the needs of ABI and BEES marketplace partners
  • Offer strategic recommendations to senior management and contribute to decision-making processes related to overall risk exposure of the BEES organization

 

What you'll bring  

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in finance, analytics or FinTech industry. Risk management experience with a focus on B2B environment is a plus
  • Solid understanding of credit risk and payment processing in online marketplaces and strong knowledge of relevant risk frameworks, requirements, and industry standards
  • Experience in designing and implementing multifaceted risk management strategies tailored to the unique needs of business strategy and operations
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within BEES and ABI organization
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. ABI Business Units, BEES Product and Technology teams)
  • Bachelor's degree and advanced degree is a plus
