As a Senior Leader in our Zurich office, you will manage the global People function and play a key role during our next phase of hyper-growth. You will be accountable for managing all aspects of HR and develop a strategic approach to developing our People. You are open, transparent, organised, fun and able to manage the team in phase of fast growth. You will lead by example, be a strong advocate of our culture and values, and work a number of company-wide strategic deliverables, ensuring Bees feel at home at Beekeeper, and all having an amazing experience!

  • Grow, retain, and reward top talent across all our locations (in Europe and the US)
  • Develop and execute the strategic People strategy (Compensation, People development, Culture & Values)

Your Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global People strategy that creates a high-performance culture enabling Beekeeper to scale rapidly
  • Act as a strategic partner to CFO and Executive team regarding key organisational and management issues
  • Manage the People and Office teams across all locations (incl. performance metrics) in line with company objectives 
  • Define and oversee global compensation and benefits, performance management, diversity and staff development programs so that they are closely aligned with business strategies
  • Partner with Talent acquisition to enable effective recruiting and hiring
  • Partner with Finance & Compliance functions to ensure all Policies and Processes are optimised and strike the right balance between growth and efficiency

What we look for in you

  • 10+ years leading HR / People
  • Proven track record in a comparable role, ideally for a Software startup or similar organization that has undergone exceptional growth  
  • Experience overseeing HR activities internationally and familiar with compliance, labour law, regulations, and other employment requirements in multiple jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and leverage HR and recruitment processes to help drive measurable business results
  • Deep knowledge of all aspects of all levels of employee learning and development
  • Able to drive process disciplines and constant improvement through collaboration
  • Strong communicator and presenter
  • A team player, intelligent, analytical, pragmatic, ambitious, commercially savvy, innovative, passionate and driven
  • Strong Cultural fit
  • HR Tools knowledge & experience: BambooHR, Greenhouse, Excel
  • Languages: English a must, German a plus

Reporting line: This role reports into CFO who manage the “Enablement Engine” (Finance, People, Compliance, IT), and is part of the extended management team.
