About the Role
DoorDash is looking for a seasoned leader with strong product sense to oversee the Bbot Engineering org. The in-store experience is central to the DoorDash mission of empowering local businesses to thrive in a convenience-based economy. There's a wide breadth of problems to build for across mobile, web, and backend.

We’re excited about you because…
- You have BS, M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
- You have 4+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams of 15+
- You have 8+ years of engineering experience in a product-focused environment
- You’ve led full-stack engineering teams, including backend, web, mobile, and machine learning
- You enjoy working in a highly visible and vital business domain - we embrace ambiguous business problems and thorny technical/business tradeoffs
- You want to shepherd the hyper-growth of our engineers and teams
- You’re empathetic - you have deep care for your customers and your team in order to balance product priorities and team morale
- You are empathetic and growth-minded
- You can optimize processes and engineering while also designing for scale
