BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a full time Paralegal, Generalist to assist our Legal Services office located in Pennsauken, NJ.
As a Paralegal you will:
Be a trusted legal resource and business partner for all BAYADA offices on a wide range of both routine and complex legal issues
Manage client and employee related incidents
Respond to internal client inquiries, identifying and assessing potential legal risks and providing timely recommendations
Respond to employment law inquiries
Conduct state specific and federal legal research and provide analysis and summary to internal partners
Analyze data and metrics and prepare reports and summaries of findings
Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal Certification required
7+ years’ of relevant work experience, including 5+ years as a Paralegal preferably including managing a variety of legal matters in a corporate environment
Professional liability or claims management experience a plus
An understanding of medical terminology
Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to present and respond to senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision, as well as ability to work in collaboration with other team members internal partners as needed
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and meet time deadlines in a fast paced environment
The ability to maintain confidentiality and to operate with the highest ethical standards and professionalism
