BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking experienced Certified Home Health Aides, HHA's to provide hospice visits to clients located throughout Central and Northern New Jersey. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team to support our hospice clients.

Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide
  • Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Home Health Aide in NJ
  • Hospice experience a plus but not required
  • Meet all state requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

  •  Activities of daily living  
  •  Light housekeeping  
  •  Bathing, grooming  
  •  Range of motion / exercises  
  •  Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices  
  •  Oral feeding  
  •  Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration  
  •  Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.  
  •  Assisting with ambulation  
  •  Medication assistance
