About your role

As a People Operations Specialist, you will help us to make Baubap’s processes scalable by creating, optimizing, automating, and improving existing ones as well as those that will come with our growth and evolution.

You will be responsible for ensuring everything runs like clockwork, providing the best experience for our Baubapians throughout their journey at Baubap. You are the person who will create solutions for them and excellence in every interaction.

You will work hand-in-hand with the rest of the People team to provide guidance on various administrative and logistical processes, execute our current and future processes with zero mistakes, and help us evolve its as Baubap grows.

 

Outcomes

  • Develop and Implement Policies: Create and apply policies and procedures that ensure legal compliance and promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Data-driven decision maker: Use HR data and metrics to make informed decisions and continuously improve processes and policies.
  • Upgrade Our Current Processes: Ensure they are as efficient and automated as possible.
  • Provide the best employee experience: Accompany Baubapians through their journey, bringing in hand tools for their work and development at Baubap.

 

Day to day

  • Coordinate the entire onboarding process for new team members and providing all the necessary accesses.
  • Keep all current policies regarding internal benefits and onboarding processes up to date.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations throughout the onboarding, offboarding, and other proceses
  • Continuously review and improve the life cycle events processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS.
  • Generate regular reports on life cycle events metrics, providing insights and recommendations to HR and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, including employment contracts, salaries increases, address changes, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with People partners, Talent Acquisition team, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and execution of HR processes.
  • Plan and execute a detailed weekly agenda considering several stakeholders and enablers to make logistics at People exceptional.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks such as purchasing perks and coordinating anniversary and birthday gifts, among others.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Human Resources remote team
  • Knowledge of Mexican labor law
  • Understanding of payroll and regulations related to labor issues in Mexico
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; (English and Spanish)
  • Startup experience
  • Tech-savvy (slack, notion, Gsuite, HRIS, excel proficient)
  • Attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience with product vision companies
  • Experience with Fintech and fast-growing organizations.
