We are looking for a self-motivated senior software sales engineer with excellent customer facing, technical and organizational skills and previous experience in enterprise solutions sales. You get excited talking tech to all audiences, providing hands-on technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting POCs.
As an integral part of the field sales team, you’ll qualify and help close opportunities with new prospects and up-sell existing customers. Your voice will be heard by the product team to help prioritize features based on input from prospects, customers, competitors, and partners. You will be the conduit of technical information in and out of the field and will be pivotal in securing success for customers and attaining company sales targets.
You will be part of an international pre-sales team, working closely with the field sales organization across the US and the world.
You will develop and maintain a positive relationship with field account executives to manage and close a new and existing software sales pipeline, A solutions and consultative approach to software sales. Delivery of focused software and solution demonstrations to audiences at all levels.
You will be responsible for ongoing technical account management with existing customers, as well as supporting delivery of hands-on technical training to prospects and existing customers.
Computer Science degree or other scientific degree with programming experience.
3 years experience in commercial software pre-sales and business development with a focus on solutions sales experience:
Familiarity with command line Linux
Solution Sales experience
Java, C/C++, C#
RESTful web services and JSON
NLP / Text Analytics
Elasticsearch/Solr/Lucene/MongoDB or other noSQL document indexing technologies
