Barsala is a mission-driven real-estate technology startup that is democratizing the use of space and disrupting a $1Tn industry by creating a better way for travelers to stay, for work or play. We put unused residential inventory to use by operating them as home-like spaces for travelers with the flexibility of an Airbnb and the service consistency of a hotel. We already have great product-market fit, with revenues doubling year over year since founding in 2019. We're now looking for entrepreneurial team members to co-pilot the rocketship.
About this Position
The Manager of Real Estate Acquisition will directly drive the growth of Barsala’s innovative vacancy management and hospitality solutions for class-A multifamily properties. The role will be center stage in pioneering and scaling a new tech-enabled hospitality business that outperforms traditional lease-ups.

In this role you will…
- Close deals by winning over the owners of Class-A multi-family assets through in-person relationship building
- Negotiate and structure management agreements that leverage best practices from multifamily real estate and adapting them to a tech-enabled business.
- Source new deals with building owners, developers and investment partners and manage them through the pipeline
- Deploy our proprietary pro-forma analytics and data to tell a compelling story for each deal
- Onboard new building owners and developers and mange the relationship through the deal lifecycle with the goal of growing your book of business
- Experiment with new deal structures and innovate
- Roll up your sleeves and work side by side with real-estate team members, engineers, city operations, and marketers to drive impact in a scrappy, agile way

We’re excited about you because you…
- Have a track record of driving impact in multifamily real estate, preferably as part of a developer team
- Are experienced in analyzing, structuring and negotiating multi-family deals
- Have a Bachelor degree (hospitality management or real estate preferred) and at least 5 years of experience
- Believe in our mission and have a strong desire to make a dent in the universe and change the real estate and travel space forever!
