What We Are Looking For:
As a Senior Global Tax Analyst, you will work to support the global tax function by coordinating with outside consultants and overseeing the detail preparation and review of all financial statement reporting as it relates to income taxes. You will own the compliance process by preparing all inputs and reviewing applicable federal, international, and state returns. In addition, this role will also include tax research and analysis of tax law, assistance with various tax audits, identification of tax savings opportunities, and other special projects., you will work to support the global tax function by coordinating with outside consultants and overseeing the detail preparation and review of all financial statement reporting as it relates to income taxes.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee outside service providers for the preparation of federal, state and local income and franchise tax returns, extensions and estimates, in addition to certain international income tax filings.
- Prepare calculations for the quarterly and annual ASC 740 consolidated provision for the financial statement reporting of a multi-national (40+ jurisdiction) public company. Ensure the appropriate implementation within the consolidated tax provision and financial statements of IRC 174, tax depreciation and amortization, equity compensation, transfer pricing, and other international tax items.
- Assist with state, federal and international tax examinations, including responsibility for drafting communications, preparation of responses to information document requests and related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 controls and testing
- Research and evaluate complex accounting transactions and issues to determine proper tax accounting treatment and financial statement disclosure.
- Assist third party with the preparation and documentation of the US research and development tax credit.
- Assist in global restructuring and other strategic tax planning projects.
- Prepare cash tax forecasts and track professional fees within the tax department.
What You Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. CPA required
- Experience: 2-4 years of corporate or public accounting experience.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of ASC 740
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent technical research skills, proven ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize work appropriately and meet deadlines.
Bonus Points:
- Education: Masters in Accounting
- Knowledge: OneSource Tax Provision experience preferred, NetSuite experience preferred
